IP Outdoors is a group of experienced patent and business attorneys with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software, and biotechnology. We provide a full spectrum of intellectual property services to new and existing businesses including patent acquisitions, patent licensing, trademark registration, copyright registration, and dispute resolution.
We service a broad array of businesses and we are proud to say that the majority of our clients hail from the firearms, hunting, fishing, boating, camping, construction, and agricultural industries which means that we get to meet our clients where they and we prefer to be, outdoors. Andy Pitchford
Andy grew up hunting, fishing, working in farming, manufacturing, and construction while being immediately impressively mediocre in every sport he attempted. Andy's background is in electrical and mechanical engineering, mathematics, and computer science. Andy did his undergraduate and Juris Doctorate studies at the University of Kentucky. If you can come up with it, Andy can write the patent. Andy has written approximately 500 patents. It is highly unlikely that you will ever meet anyone who has written as many original patent applications. Andy is licensed in Missouri, Tennessee, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.

Eric B. Fugett, M.S.
Eric grew up in a gun shop as the son of one of the last master gunsmiths. He's an amazing shot as long as the target isn't moving. Eric's background is in mechanical engineering, molecular biology, and food science which rounds out the firm's capabilities of being able to handle absolutely any invention that you can bring to us. Eric did his undergraduate studies at the University of Arkansas, his masters at Cornell University, and his Juris Doctorate at Vanderbilt University. Eric is licensed in Delaware, New York, Tennessee, and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
